Chapter 20 - The New System

The Lost Worlds were a small cluster of systems in a dead backwater of the galaxy.

The unique properties of the local radiation, and the radio frequencies emitted by stars in that area, effectively masked any life signs, within those systems, from passing space ships.

SM574 had a single, yellow sun, 10 planets and numerous moons.
The forth and fifth planets were unique.
The forth planet was ideal in itself with good climate, fauna and resources.
The fifth planet was cold but held significant resources of mineral ores.
Together, they offered an ideal environment for a growing civilisation.
